Kathy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years experience in public and private accounting. Kathy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hofstra University in 1981 and received a BBA in Public Accounting. Shortly thereafter, Kathy joined the international accounting firm KPMG, LLP as an auditor and computer audit specialist and focused on serving nonprofit, healthcare and manufacturing clients.

She also worked for DuPont Pharmaceuticals for two years as a financial analyst. Kathy’s extensive experience and broad-based background in private industry includes government grants and contract accounting. She also has considerable management experience in overseeing large construction projects, general purchasing and risk management and employee benefit plans.
