Lieutenant Colonel (RET.) Dave Moore has an extensive background in developing and managing Air Force flight mishap prevention programs. He is a graduate of the Flight Safety Officer Course, The Chief of Safety Course and the Operational Risk Management Applications and Integration Course.

Dave served as Chief of Safety for the 439th Airlift Wing at Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts from 1996 until his retirement from the Air Force Reserve in 2004. During this period his safety programs and mishap investigation expertise were continually held as benchmarks in the Reserve Command.

Dave retired from the Air Force Reserve as a command pilot with more than 7,600 flight hours in various Air Force aircraft, including the C-123K Provider, the C-130E Hercules and the C-5A/B Galaxy.

Ron DuMont is a retired CMSgt from the AF Reserve Command with 20 years of service. Ron is also retired from Federal Civil Service with 35 Years combined service. Ron has a long diversified background that covers Munitions storage, handling, transportation, and safety.

Ron was trained as a Munitions Specialist at Lowry AFB and was stationed at Kessler AFB prior to serving in Vietnam. After Vietnam the Air Force trained Ron as a Crash and Structural Fire Fighter and was stationed at Altus AFB until his release from active duty. He spent the next 10 years as a Structural/Crash Fire Fighter and Fire Rescue (EMT) at Barksdale AFB. Ron was schooled at Chanute AFB as a Fire Inspector and Investigator.

After a serious injury Ron had to make a career move that lead him into the AF Reserve Safety Career. Ron was the first fulltime Air Reserve Technician Safety Manager hired by AF Reserve Command. He started out his first assignment at Barksdale AFB, LA for the 917 TFW. Ron's Safety jobs lead him to San Antonio Air Logistics Center Safety Center, Defense Logistics Agency at Randolph AFB, TX, and then to Headquarters 10 Air Force at Bergstrom ARB, TX, before the BRAC closed the base.

HQ 10th Air Force was moved to the old Carswell AFB at Ft Worth, TX which had also been closed by the BRAC but reopened by the NAVY as NAS JRB Ft Worth. Ron retire from HQ 10th Air Force in July 2003.
