Key government and industry figures gathered March 13-15 at the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Conference to examine recent developments, capability gaps, and future direction for unmanned aircraft systems. Among 28 presenters at the conference was CTI’s Managing Director MQ Operations, Robert Cushing. In the well-attended presentation Cushing shared current and upcoming MQ-1/9 training, and demonstrated the necessity for development of the new undergraduate RPA training program. He presented the new syllabus and how the virtual operations environment was developed to enhance the training for basic course students. All branches of the military played a part in the conference.
