CTI Scores Perfect 45 for 45 “Exceptional” Ratings from U.S. Air Force

The U.S. Air Force released its annual report cards on Crew Training International’s (CTI) performance in FY11 contracts. On all four contracts currently held by CTI for training services in support of U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC), the company scored perfect “Exceptionals” in every criterion graded. This is unprecedented in contractor support services for the U.S. Air Force. In response, President and CEO Jack W. Each of the four contracts receives a Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) annually from the Air Force in which the Quality Assurance Officer rates CTI performance by grading different criterion either “Exceptional,” “Very Good,” “Satisfactory,” “Marginal,” or “Unsatisfactory.” To receive an “Exceptional” rating, a government contractor must exceed contract requirements in the area being evaluated. Receiving 100% “Exceptional” ratings means CTI has exceeded every requirement of the contract. It is very unusual for a government contractor to receive all “Exceptionals” on one contract, let alone four.

The Government Evaluator reported, “CTI continues to provide the Combat Air Forces (CAF) with state-of-the-art Cockpit/Crew Resource Management (CRM) courseware development and aircrew instruction.” CTI provides CRM training to approximately 7000 aircrew members per year. Also, “Without exception, CTI provided exceptional support adjusting to constant schedule changes, increasing instructor workload requirements, updates and changes to syllabi and courseware material with these changes virtually seamless to over 1000 students at various phases of training.” Finally, “CTI is a proactive and aggressive partner in resolving training and logistical issues. Their willingness to participate in and provide innovative inputs to resolve training issues has assisted the government in meeting its training requirements… CTI has an exceptional working relationship with HQ ACC program management… They are available any time to discuss training issues and on many occasions bring issues to the government ahead of local Wing leadership. CTI is extremely proactive in resolving issues before they impact student training programs.”
