RC-135

CTI is the key training partner with the 55th Wing, 55th Operations Group, 338th Combat Training Squadron (CTS).   The 338th CTS performs as the sole Formal Training Unit (FTU) for initial, difference, requalification, and upgrade training for RC/OC/WC-135 aircrew and E-4 Airborne Communications Electronics Specialists. The FTU graduates Combat Mission Ready crewmembers for nine operational squadrons tasked to execute worldwide reconnaissance, command/control, and treaty verification missions directed by the President, SECDEF, JCS, combatant commanders, and national agencies. CTI provides instructors and courseware development for this robust effort and is instrumental in providing trained aircrew members for the war fighters.
