The end of the Fiscal Year 2012 is quickly approaching and, as always, this serves as a great time to appraise how the year has progressed and what lies ahead for 2013.
2012 has been another successful year for CTI and their partnership with the 55th Wing, Offutt Air Force Base Nebraska. During the past 12 months, the 55th Wing has provided combat ready aircrews to support not only operations in the Middle East and Southwest Asia, but every corner of the world. This has been accomplished by employing multiple variants of the RC/WC/OC-135 and aircrews. The 55th Wing also provides the Department of Defense with a reliable and sustainable airborne global communication capability with the E-4B (B-747) aircraft and crews twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. A key reason for these diverse capabilities is to have highly trained, combat ready crews available to our nation’s leaders at a moments notice. As a valued member of the Offutt Team, Crew Training International has been providing superior Initial Qualification and Currency training every step of the way.
In FY 2012, CTI has again provided the customer with over 100% of contracted requirements. Recognizing and understanding the importance of customer satisfaction, CTI has provided the 55th Wing with over 100% of the required classes and courseware. This has all been accomplished while ensuring a 100% CTI student graduation rate. In order to accomplish this training, quality courseware is a must and our instructors depend on it. The quality of CTI’s instructional courseware and instructors has continually been evaluated as “Outstanding” by the customer on too many occasions to note. We are known for the pride we take in the Wing’s mission and success.
FY 2013 will undoubtedly be another busy year for the 55th Wing and for CTI. On the horizon, there will be the continued requests for combat trained aircrew and CTI is ready to provide this vital training. There will also be several major aircraft modifications, which will require CTI to modify and revise training. Working as an integral member of the 55thteam, we will continue to provide this training effectively and efficiently for the Wing and ultimately for the nation.
The 55th Wing’s motto is: “The Sun Never Sets on the Fighting 55th.” CTI will continue to be there every step of the way, helping to provide the trained aircrews for the ‘Fight’ for 2013 and beyond.
